Originated in England, cricket - a game played with balls, bats and wickets - is
an island favourite.
- The season runs from the end of April through mid-September
- During the cricket season, games are played on weekends at the cricket clubs' fields
located island-wide
- The highlight of the season is the annual Cup Match Cricket Festival played since
1902 and held on the Thursday and Friday before the first Monday in August
